On Sunday, April 19th, the Montalbano hills were filled with the clean energy of runners and the intense aroma of our espresso. We experienced an extraordinary day dedicated to outdoor sports and the promotion of our region, hosting the start and finish of the seventh edition of the Montalbano EcoTrail, also counting towards the 3rd Caffè Negro Trophy.
Seeing our headquarters in Capraia e Limite transform into the beating heart of such a beloved event was, once again, a source of immense pride.
A breathtaking route through nature and effort
The athletes competed on a 16 km route with a 600 meter elevation gain (D+600m), a technical and fascinating challenge carefully planned down to the smallest detail by the A.S.D. Capraia Run organization.
The route offered splendid views of the Tuscan hills, woods, and trails immersed in greenery, testing the legs of participants but rewarding them with the pristine beauty of the surrounding environment. A true "ecotrail" that embraces the values of respect for nature and sustainability, principles we at Caffè Negro deeply share.
The perfect boost for the finish line
The meeting, scheduled for the first morning at our facility on Via Salani 2, saw the runners warming up their engines... and what better than a good artisanal coffee to recharge before the start?
Upon returning from the race, tired but happy, the participants were able to recharge and celebrate their performances. The combination of the physical exertion of the trail and the pleasure of a quality espresso created a convivial and enthusiastic atmosphere.
